Double Spiral Compost Turner

Product Introduction and Feature:

Double spiral turning machine is suitable for fermentation and turning of organic waste such as livestock and poultry manure, mushroom residue, sludge garbage, sugar factory filter mud, straw sawdust, etc. It overcome width and depth limitations for traditional groove type compost turner, turning depth can reach 1.6m, width is 12m, which greatly improves space utilization. The improved dual-axis reverse spiral movement has the functions of turning, stirring and oxygenating, which improve fermentation rate, decompose the compost quickly, prevent generation of odor, greatly save energy consumption of oxygenation, and shorten fermentation time.

Structure Overview:

The second hand double-helix compost turner include: cross transfer device, walking device, turning device and electric control device. Frame body is welded by standard square steel and I-beam, which is more solid.

◆Turning device include hydraulic device to control lifting of screw rod and motor to provide power of the screw, gearbox device and double screw rod.

◆Double-screw rods rotate in opposite direction, blades overlap each other, so the mixing is more complete, material is more crisp. The helical blades are made by professional manufacturer in one process, shape is more regular, blades are gradually thickened from outside to inside, rotation resistance is smaller.

◆Hydraulic lifting device is hydraulic pump driving hydraulic oil. The hydraulic cylinder is controlled to expand and contract through electromagnetic reversing valve, so as to realize screw rod lifting. Two sets of check valves are installed in hydraulic oil circuit to make screw rod to reach specific position and be locked, there will be no deflection.

◆Transmission gear is more wear-resistant after heat treatment, box body is equipped with oil inlet and oil outlet, which is more convenient to use.

◆Traveling device, also known as traveling frame, consists of two sets of direct-connected reducer and motor, they are installed on both sides of traveling wheel to drive the large frame to walk on groove track.

◆Cross transfer device, also known as walking car, is used to place turning device. It is pulled by two wire ropes to realize its reciprocating motion on track of walking frame. There is one set motor at both end of wire rope to provide power.

◆Electric control device is key for coordinated operation of all machine parts and realization of electric automation control. The control cabinet adopt Siemens PLC as core of system control. Modular structure PLC, supplemented by motor control cabinet, constitute a fully functional automatic control system.
