Reasons and Solutions for Vibration of Fertilizer Crusher Machine

Fertilizer crusher machine generally use motor to directly connect to crushing device. This connection method is simple and easy to maintain. However, if the two are not well connected during assembly process, it will cause overall vibration of crusher.

(1) Motor rotor and crusher rotor are not concentric.

You can move position of motor to left or right or add pads under the motor feet to adjust concentricity of two rotors.

(2) Crusher rotor is not concentric.

Reason is that two supporting surfaces which supporting rotor shaft are not in the same plane. Copper can be padded on bottom surface of the supporting bearing seat, or an adjustable wedge iron can be added to bottom of the bearing to ensure two shaft heads are concentric.

(3) Vibration in the crushing chamber is relatively large.

Reason is that connection between the coupling and rotor is not concentric or quality of flat hammer inside rotor is uneven. Corresponding methods can be adopted to adjust connection between the coupling and motor according to different types of couplings: when quality of hammers is uneven, each set of hammers must be re-selected so that error of the relatively symmetrical hammers is < 5g.

(4) Original balance is destroyed.

After motor is repaired, dynamic balance test must be performed to ensure overall balance.

(5) Anchor bolts of crusher system are loose or foundation is not strong.

During installation or maintenance, anchor bolts should be tightened evenly, and shock-absorbing device should be installed between foundation and the crusher to reduce vibration.

(6) Hammer is broken or there are hard debris in crushing chamber.

These will cause unbalanced rotation of rotor and cause vibration of whole machine. Therefore, regular inspections are required, and severely worn hammers should be replaced regularly. When replacing, it should be replaced symmetrically; if there is abnormal sound during operation of crusher, it should be stopped immediately for inspection, cause should be found and dealt with promptly.

(7) Connection between crusher system and other equipment does not match.

For example, improper connection of feed pipe, discharge pipe, etc. will cause vibration and noise. Therefore, it is not suitable to use hard connections for these connecting parts, better to use soft connections.
