Rotary Cooler

Product Introduction:

Rotary drum cooler is a large-scale machine that dissipate heat and reduce moisture from dried shaped fertilizer granules. The hot granules dried from rotary dryer at temperature of 45-60℃ are sent to rotary cooler for cooling. Rotary kiln cooler is one of the key equipment in fertilizer industry. It is used to cool formed fertilizer granules. When temperature of granules decreases, water content decreases at the same time, and fertilizer granules strength increase accordingly.

Structure Overview:

Fertilizer cooler can be divided into four parts:

A. Bracket part: bracket part include front bracket and rear bracket, which are fixed on corresponding foundation and used to support cylinder for positioning and rotation. The front and rear brackets are all composed of bracket, riding wheel frame and a riding wheel. During installation, height and angle of equipment can be adjusted by adjusting two riding wheel distance on the front and rear brackets.

B. Transmission part: transmission part provide required power for normal operation of coolings compost. Its components include transmission frame, motor, triangular belt transmission mechanism, reducer and gear transmission mechanism etc., reducer and gear are connected by direct connection or coupling to transmit the drive according to load.

C. Cylinder: cylinder is working part of whole cooling machine. There are rolling belts for support and gear rings for transmission on the outside, lifting plates welded inside are distributed in rows, when the cooler is working, materials are continuously raised and thrown to form heat exchange to achieve purpose of cooling.

D. Seal head, seal tail and air duct: this part constitute the cold air circulation and dust removal system required for cooling machine to work. Seal between seal head and body is good, so that cold air can continuously reduce temperature of particle surface, achieve the purpose of uniformly cooling particles. When operator needs to enter inside of cylinder for operation, please enter from the tail when machine is stopped.

Working Principle:

Belt and pulley are driven by main motor, transmitted to drive shaft through reducer, and split gear installed on drive shaft meshes with large ring gear fixed on machine body to work in opposite directions. Material is fed from feed end and passes through cylinder inside. Under suction of induced draft fan (used in conjunction with machine), air flow inside the cylinder is accelerated, lifting plate installed on inner wall of cylinder continuously turns up material, so as to achieve purpose of uniform cooling, cooled material is discharged from discharge outlet. With continuous rotation of motor, material is continuously fed in order to achieve mass production. (Note this machine is used in conjunction with dryer).
