Pan Granulator

Product Introduction:

The pan granulator is the main equipment for forming powdery materials into pellets. It is suitable for processing various non-sticky materials in powdery, granular or small lumps, such as: coal powder, cement, clinker, limestone, shale, coal gangue, clay, etc.

Applicable material: organic fertilizer, inorganic fertilizer, municipal sludge, chicken manure, pig manure, cow manure and other raw materials.

※ Inclination angle of the disc can be adjusted flexibly, rotary speed can be adjusted.

Structure Overview:

Disc granulator machine is mainly composed of disc, scraper device, big and small gears, reducer, motor, angle-adjusting screw,base and inner gear.

1. Frame part: the frame part of the disk granulator is welded by high-quality channel steel, which can play a good supporting role for the whole equipment. Transmission part and rotating working part of the whole machine are supported by the frame.

2. Adjustment part: the adjustment part is mainly welded by carbon steel plate and channel steel, it is one of the important components of granulation disc operation.

3. Transmission part: transmission part is core part of the whole machine operation. The motor and reducer used in it are all well-known brands, quality is guaranteed. Motor drives belt pulley, V-belt, reducer and pinion, the pinion drives big gear to make granulation disc work. At the same time, high-temperature quenching is used for both big and small gears, which doubles the service life.

4. Granulation disc: the granulation disc is an important place for powdery organic fertilizer to become granular organic fertilizer. The corner of entire disc is designed with a circular arc, bottom is reinforced by multiple radiant steel plates, three discharge ports are set. The overall pellet forming rate is above 93%.

5. Automatic material cleaning part: this device is installed above granulation disc, mainly to remove powdery organic fertilizer adhered to the bottom of granulation disc due to humidification.

Working Principle:

After raw material is evenly mixed by mixer, it is transported to the top of disc by Belt conveyor, then is continuously added quantitatively to the disc, appropriate amount of water is sprayed. After raw material pellet enter into disc, it moves along a parabola under centrifugal force, friction and gravity function.Due to cohesiveness and plasticity of material, pellet are bonded to each other and gradually grow up during movement. When the inclination angle, disc edge height,rotation speed of disc and water content are constant, pellet with different particle sizes will leave the edge of disc and roll down at different angles due to gravity difference. Moisture in the pellet is continuously discharged out of surface during continuous rolling process. Due to cohesiveness of material and natural volatilization of liquid film on the surface, pellet own a certain strength, then discharged from edge of the disc with rotation of the inclined disc.
